# Add a Beneficiary

> Save a new bank account or crypto wallet as a payout destination.

Use the **Add Beneficiary** panel to save a payout destination.

## Before you begin

Confirm that you have the beneficiary's correct:

* Legal name
* Beneficiary type
* Bank or wallet details
* Country and currency
* Address information
* Network and asset, for crypto beneficiaries
* Memo or destination tag, where required

  Incorrect beneficiary details may cause a payout to fail or be sent to the wrong destination.

## Add a beneficiary

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Beneficiaries">
    Select **Beneficiaries** from the main navigation.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select New Beneficiary">
    The Add Beneficiary panel opens.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose the destination type">
    Select **Bank Account** or **Crypto wallets**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter the beneficiary information">
    Complete all required fields.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the details">
    Confirm that names, account numbers, wallet addresses, networks, and currencies are correct.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Save Beneficiary">
    The beneficiary becomes available for future payouts once saved.
  </Step>

## Beneficiary type

Choose:

* **Individual** for a person
* **Business** for a company or legal entity

## Labels

A label helps identify the beneficiary later.

Examples:

* Supplier account
* Operations wallet
* Binance treasury
* Payroll account
