# Change Password

> Update your password from the Privacy & Security section of the Ryno Business Portal.

Use **Change Password** in **Settings** to update your current sign-in password.

## How to change your password

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Settings">
    Go to **Settings** from the left navigation.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Change Password">
    Under **Privacy & Security**, choose **Change Password**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your current password">
    Provide the password you currently use to sign in.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter a new password">
    Create a new password that meets the required rules.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm the new password">
    Re-enter the same new password in the confirmation field.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Update password">
    Submit the form to save the change.
  </Step>

## Password requirements

The interface indicates that the password must contain at least:

* **1 uppercase letter**
* **1 number**
* **8 characters**
* **1 special character**

## Important note

<Warning>
  Changing your password logs you out of the portal. You will need to sign in again using the new password.
</Warning>

## Tips

* Choose a password that is hard to guess
* Avoid reusing an old password
* Store your password securely
* Keep 2FA enabled for stronger security
